| Big Bear Lake Classic Car Show 2012 BIG BEAR LAKE CAR SHOW FUN RUN Enjoy the classic cars, hot rods, custom paint jobs, wheels, tires and chrome all in one place, Big Bear Lake! The 2010 Big Bear Lake Classic Car Show and Fun Run was a great success this year again and we are proud to present a video slideshow for your pleasure! The Big Bear Lake Antique Car Club was founded in 1982 by a group of people who shared a common interest in “vintage automobiles.” The purpose of the club is to indulge this common interest and raise money for charities in the Big Bear valley. We are a non-profit organization and our major fund raising effort is the “Fun Run” car show held annually on the second weekend in August. We also host a car show for local residents on Memorial Day weekend. As a result, we are able to raise between fifteen and twenty thousand dollars annually which is given to local groups providing services to the Big Bear community. We also provide our vehicles to be displayed at many local functions as a crowd attraction. We meet on the second Monday of the month from April through November at the Big Bear Discovery Center. We are a fun group that works very hard to support the activities that take place in the Big Bear community. |
