| Guest Review TRIPADVISOR Great Little Get Away. Mallard Bay is a very nice family run resort. About 16 small cabins right on the lake. Management is on site owners who make a great effort to make sure everything is right and everyone is happy. They are very friendly and go out of their way to put a personal touch on your stay. We rented a small two bedroom cabin. Clean and freshly painted. Kitchens are well equipped. Living room could use a better TV and another couch. Private dock for boats and fishing. Nice pool, shuffleboard, ping pong, volley ball. My 8 and 11 year olds found plenty to do. Overall made for a nice 4 day weekend for a great value. I have stayed in a lot of other cabins in Big Bear.
